On this page you will find information and various links concerning the Grey Tower, an online Play By Forum Roleplaying Community. This community is based in the world of The Wheel of Time, a novel series written by the late Robert Jordan.

When scouring the internet looking for information on the Wheel of Time-series I came across a roleplaying-site much like the Grey Tower. Having explored that site I became interested but forgot about it until I remembered months later. I couldn't find that site again but instead found the Grey Tower, which I joined in the summer of 2003 with Tan'qui al'Taya. I had a lot of fun with him but after playing for approximately a year I became too busy and decided to leave.

A few months later I found myself with more time on my hands and started lurking around the site again. In early 2005 I rejoined with a new character, Alyna Tiara. Earlier the site had moved to a new host and was still recovering from the backdrop in members the community experienced as a result of the earlier problems and the consecutive move. This lead amongst others to a shortage of Admin-members and when I was of the intermediate rank I offered to help out. As first an Admin-Assistant and later (when I was fully raised) a full fledged member of Admin I was a member until the summer of 2006. After being away for a week or two in july 2006 I suffered from some personal issues which resulted in me abandoning the site and my post.

It took a year before I first contacted the community again and in september 2007 I was accepted with a new character, Karta Unaka, who is now still of the first rank and going slowly but strongly. Not interested in an Admin position I instead try to help out by being an active member, a source of information and by creating pages to expand the site or help other people with their roleplaying.
